Best sleepaway camp in Maine?

Really trying to find the sort of place where kids return year after year. But not too bougie. Country club vibes just feels wrong for summer camp.

They'll teach your kids to sail if they want. And honestly most of the Maine camps are not bougie. The parents are usually very rich but the facilities are Spartan.

Mine go to Winaukee which is for boys and love it. Theres also its girl sister camp robindel. For co ed people we know like cobbosee. Ours go for 4 weeks. They would prefer 7 but I would miss them too much and it’s super expensive. This feels like a good mix where if I kept them home all summer I’d feel like they were on iPads and not doing much (this way they make amazing friends and no iPads/ all activities and sunsets and lake). Selfishly I don’t love it that they go and miss them but they love it so much. Sorry - more info than you asked for!
