What was the point of the lawsuit if the plaintiff settled for $50? There is no ruling about the constitutionality of the policy. The case just goes away. Sounds like a win for FCPS.

The attorney's fees will not be $50.00.
It is a moral victory for the girl and all girls.

Wow. Just read the article. In this case, the boy didn’t even identify as transgender but was still allowed to use the girls locker room due to “bullying” in the boys locker room. The girl is read was directed to use the stalls and the boy was allowed use of the girls locker room. This is truly sick and bonkers.

FCPS does not believe it’s “sick and bonkers” (even though it is).

FCPS believes it is “social justice.”

FCPS also believes that if you dare disagree, then you must be a hateful, bigoted, MAGA, and your child must be punished for such beliefs.

This is the second regular old boy in fcps taking advantage of the open gender girls bathroom/locker room policy at just one school, the only fcps high school right now where girls are brave enough to speak up.

How many boys are doing this district wide?

There are 25 traditional high schools in FCPS. Even using a conservative 2 boys/high school, that is some 50 regular boys in FCPS high schools using this policy to take advantage of girls in their intimate female only spaces.

Wow. This is so awful to read.

A boy who was substantially larger than the plaintiff claims he has been bullied and threatened to be jumped, raped, and screamed at and since girls don’t say anything he feels entitled to use the girls bathroom. He posted his counselor and principal said he could then added on his post to someone objecting -you go to a public school not everything is catered to you.

So when the mom emails the principal and says her daughter didn't feel safe using the bathroom after being surprised by a significantly larger male student who followed directly behind her as she walked into the bathroom, the principal says the girl should use one of 4 single bathrooms for 2,500 students instead of one of the 9 girls bathrooms (3 on each floor).

The boy never said he was trans, gender fluid, etc. He just decided he would use the girls bathrooms even though their were single bathrooms available and at times also did use the male bathrooms.

This first incident happened in May 2023 and the male students was allowed to use the female bathrooms the entire 23-24 school year.

Seems pretty clear who the second class citizens are at this school. Anything so a boy isn’t inconvenienced, girls just need to accept the crumbs.

FCPS will continue to spend more money on attorneys, both their’s and their opponents and less on education.

These cases are lost causes for FCPS. The Feds aren’t going to settle.
