liposuction works

Glp1 has made me lose weight overall but the stubborn belly fat? Still there. You can’t cherry pick, keep the butt/boobs please-snatch the waist, it comes off where it comes off, sadly.

You need to get to a healthy weight first and then see if you need lipo to clean up. It’s not a weight loss method. Most surgeons won’t operate if you’re really overweight.

I would not even think about it until you have a normal BMI (under 25). You are currently at 34.2. You need to lose a bit over 50 lbs. to be in the normal range.

No reputable surgeon will agree to operate on you at this weight. Use the BMI calculator. You need to lose at least 40-50 lb.

They’d give her ozempic first. wtf- you can suck out 1/2 your body weight. lol

Lipo is hit people within 5-15 pounds of target weight and need spot reduction.

Op here. I am on ozempic for last 1+ years but it is not helping me lose weight. I have a few other medical issues such as PCOS and type 2 but the fat doesn't go away at all. Feeling unmotivated right now.

I’m getting lipo 360. My problem area is my back fat and love handles, no waist definition.

The doc keeps trying to upsell me on BbL as well But I hear that’s dangerous

I had some fat under my arms liposuctioned when I had my breast reduction a few years ago. It didn't seem to do much at all.

Wegovy is a higher dose of sema. Maybe on the Ozempic your dose isn't high enough to help you lose? Can you talk to your doctor about that?

Op here. I talked to my doctor and he increased the dose of ozempic so let's see how that would work. Are there any other factors such as PCOS or Type 2 or thyroid imbalance that could make ozempic not work as well.

What is your Ozempic dose? I have type 2 and hypothyroidism. I take Synthroid. My doctor started me out on 0.25mg Ozempic and 2000mg metformin to start with, then moved up to 0.5 Ozempic and 1000mg metformin, and now I’m on 1.0 mg Ozempic and 500 mg metformin (over a year).I’ll likely be switched to the maximum dose of Ozempic at my next visit. I started losing weight right from the start though and I’m back to almost normal HbA1c.

Probably at or near a normal BMI. That would be about 50 pounds.

Everyone is different. Just see how things go with the increased dose of ozempic. I've lost 70 pounds on Wegovy and gotten down to a normal BMI, but it didn't happen overnight. Just be patient and make good choices each day. Day by day.
