liposuction works

I have gained a good amount of weight around my midsection, thighs and hips and thinking about getting a liposuction done. How successful is that and are there any side effects of this? Does the fat come back or stay away forever?

You need to maintain healthy lifestyle otherwise it could come back and make it look worse.

I had it done and went up two sizes. The fat cells were removed from my waist and I suppose the fat cells in my hips compensated. Never been able to lose it and get back to my original size.

New fat will likely accumulate in untreated areas, potentially making your body appear disproportionate.

May I recommend liposuction for your hips?

I got lipo 360 with my tummy tuck and it's stayed off. But I work out 5x a week and eat a fairly strict keto diet.

I had abdominal lipo done. Approximately 4 months later my appetite went completely out of control, insatiable. I had gained 20 lbs before I knew it. I've always been able to eat to my appetite and lose very quickly when desired but my appetite is still stronger than ever and so this weight is very stubborn 2 years later.

I had 360 surgery two years ago, and my waist is snatched. However if you have belly fat, visceral, lipo won’t help. You will need to lose some weight first.

Another thing about lipo is some days you will look better than others. Bloating still happens and diet excercise still matter.

When you create a fat cell, it remains forever unless it is surgically removed.

Lipsuction surgically removes fat cells. That should answer that.

Your age?

You need to under certain BMI. I think below 30 before surgeons would consider it.

The fat doesn’t come back when you have it lipoed, but note that other areas of your body become fatter. I had flank liposuction and now my arms get huge when I gain weight.

If you consume more calories than your body burns, the fat will go to wherever you still have fat cells. Hence PP's fat arms when she gains weight.

In my case, fat started coming back to the areas where I had lipo. My tummy and thighs and it is very annoying.

I’d try glp1 instead.
