Are Dickinson and F&M two peas in the same pod?

DD recruited for sport at both schools, ended up at F&M. Did overnights, camps, attended classes at both schools. Similar vibes, liked both schools. Liked the friendly, welcoming feel at F&M, just connected better there. Not much greek presence at either school. Plenty of jocks and social scene is built in for them, but she has made plenty of non-athlete friends that fit her nerdy vibe

A: Bucknell, Lafayette, Lehigh
B: Dickinson, Gettysburg, F&M
C: Muhlenberg, Ursinus, Allegheny
D: Elizabethton, Lebanon Valley

I'm sure I'm leaving some out but you get the idea.

Every Gettysburg grad I’ve met is like this. They seem insecure and desperate to prove they are in the same tier as Dickinson and F&M.

Geed take. These three schools have always been peers. Their students are of a similar caliber (look at CDS's), graduate at similar rates, have similar career outcomes (if anything Gettysburg is slightly stronger due to the elevator test and pipelines to finance/consulting), and so on.

this is pretty spot on but would move Haverford down

Why? Haverford and Swarthmore are mutual peers.

I sincerely hope this is true today. Oversized Greek life with few other social alternatives was a big reason I transferred out of F&M in the mid-90’s. I didn’t realize at the time how much it would matter.
