Was going to post the same. Athleta makes a pant like this -the brooklyn, maybe? I see lots of women in my office wearing these pants. |
This only works if one is tall and slender. Not a common body type. |
| If your feet feel good, you’ll feel good. Be comfortable in your Hokas and you’ll find no one is really looking at your feet. |
Projection is a hell of a drug, sounds like it's you. |
| I have the same issue. I swapped out my white hokas for the black bondi 9s with the white sole, then wear them with black pants that aren’t jeans but have a less dressy feel, like mini boot crop black Frame pants or Theory pants that are not super stiff. I wear a fitted sweater or a tshirt and less structured blazer, basically mixing work appropriate clothes with more casual clothes. And then I tell everyone I have plantar fasciitis so they can expect to see me in clunky Hokas for a while. |
Nope. That’s actually the body type it looks the worst on. You need some shape to wear wide legged pants, otherwise they wear you and you drown in them. PP is right the go-to look should be high waist, wide legged drapey trouser (ideally ankle length, Target has a great one for $35 but also the Colette full-length from Anthro works beautifully too) + belt + nice sweater or nice tee with blazer jacket (boxy if you wanna be current but doesn’t matter) |
| I had ankle surgery over the summer and my orthopedic surgeon told me I needed to wear Hokas for three months. I bought a couple pairs so I could match outfits. I think they worked okay with jeans and casual dresses but there were instances where I just looked goofy. |
| yeah, the answer is absolutely not, but if you need to wear them then wear them. my foot health s more important than whether i look stylish. |
Neither of those shoes are Hokas. |
