| Things are so bad that I don’t even care about this. |
Good voter, not so good vice president (I have other terms to use once the 48 hours is over). |
What is your point & why do you say that? |
| I forgot he was still alive. I'm almost certain I saw Cheney at IAD about 12 years ago. Somehow it was just me and my traveling party on a people mover with Cheney, someone pushing his wheelchair, a United employee, and a single Secret Service agent. He looked like death. |
Yeah, this feels like old news at this point. On the other hand, it's a nice reminder that it's not surprising at all when a man in his early 80's dies. |
| How was he only 84? He seemed like he was in his late 70s back when he was Bush's VP, but maybe because I was a lot younger then. |
+1 ! He seemed like an old man when 9/11 happened but he was only 60! Now that I’m 55 my head just exploded. |
|
Kinda surprising that bro lasted as long as he did; he was half-cooked while he was in office!
I didn't like him then, but I respect his later political positioning. RIP. |
| RIP Dick Cheney. I did like him during the Bush presidency, but very much respected him in his later years. Rest in peace and thank you for your service. |
*did not |
| On the same day a Muslim gets elected as mayor of NYC. |
He had a heart transplant in 2012. Considering his heart history living to 84 is quite respectable. |

It's always busy on this damn forum. -not the moderator |
| In the old days we could criticize people for the political positions. We didn't have to worry about them trampling on the Consitution and all the values we are proud of. I don't mind waiting 48 hours on this one. |
