They are not in the military!

How dare they do this on taxpayer's dime. Insult to every single veteran of this country you dam traitor.

I am a veteran and I’m fine with them living where they do.

And, btw - it’s spelled “damn.” You appear uneducated when you get such a simple word wrong.

NP obviously. You are a MAGA horse's patriot and as ill educated as you accuse the poster of being, here is the origin of the phrase "I don't give a DAM?"

"Tinker's dam" is a temporary barrier made of mud, clay, or dough used by a tinker to hold molten solder in place while repairing a hole in a metal object. The dam is discarded after the solder has cooled and hardened, making it a single-use item of little value. This origin has led to the phrase "not to give a tinker's dam" which means something is worthless or insignificant.

I'm not surprised, I mean they basically have communist economic policies so why not take free housing for party members?

More LIES from the failing @nytimes! These government planes are for the brave men and women of the @USCG.

The NYT wants our leaders to be incapable of responding to national emergencies while in the air, leaving DHS to be without leadership anytime the secretary is airborne.

This “journalist” clearly doesn’t understand the reality of protecting the American people 24 hours a day, seven days a week, and 365 days a year.

Because if they did, they’d understand that this is a MATTER OF SAFETY and MISSION READINESS. Senior military officials and cabinet members need secure command and control and rapid long range mobility.

Interesting. So my neighbor who is in the USCG can now fly on these planes?

I support permanent government housing for all of them.

So Tucker Carlson called former DHS secretary Janet Napolitano of being so inconsequential that she did not merit even a protection detail and now cabinet members deserve two Jetstreams due to "matter of safety" and "mission readiness"?

Honestly, it doesn’t matter what you *think*, regardless of your military status. My veteran husband is appalled at the grift of this administration. They are living off that taxpayer’s dime, which is forbidden.

^sucker and loser^

Now THAT (your post) is an actual "insult to every single veteran of this country." But you don't actually care, do you?

Former GO spouse here. F them. These people work their asses off for decades and often 60+ hours a week, sometimes putting their lives on the line. They’ve missed their children’s births, games, matches, graduations, performances, and nearly every anniversary. They live in ugly, tiny houses all through their 30s and most of their 40s to FINALLY, at like age 50, if they’re lucky, get GO housing.

F these posers, grifters, and conmen.
