I will add, if I call you, and you don't answer and I don't leave a message or text you, don't call me back with, "you called?"
If I wanted you to call me back, I would have left a message |
+1. If you are important to me, I’ve given you my number and you can text me. |
| Sorry, you can only control your own actions; you can’t control other people who have free will. They’re going to do what’s best/easiest for them. |

I do not think most people agree w/your take on getting back to someone.
Reason being is that there are so many ways to communicate w/others these days that most people are just not very picky what format someone responds after they reach out - - as long as they get a timely response.

| OP, I absolutely agree! |
You’re in the minority with that approach. Most people don’t leave voicemails. They expect a call back if they called. |
If you call me out if the blue and don’t text why or request a call back -I’m not even going to acknowledge you. I’m going to assume it was a butt dial |

Not adult behavior… |

| If you call me, I will email or text you back. But there was no need for a phone call in the first place. |
NP. Disagree. Sometimes people just call…if it’s truly important, you leave a message. |
If you call me and don’t leave a voicemail or text, I am not calling you back unless you are my boss or a good friend. |
Same. A missed call gets a call back. I also expect a call back if I call you and don't leave a VM. If it wasn't that important I would have sent a text in the first place. |
If you don’t leave me a text or VM, you will be waiting for lever. |
