Taking a GLP-1 and still have all the food noise

You are not up to a therapeutic dose yet. Don't worry about this until you are at 2.4 and it still isn't working (which is unlikely). Comparing yourself to others is useless.

What do you mean by cannot have? Do they make you sick or are you restricting them? I find that I can eat "trigger foods" in small amounts and feel satisfied, so I do. I start with the healthier things but sometimes still have dessert or whatever

I agree with this. Saying this as someone who clearly has undiagnosed binge eating disorder and personally felt the off switch immediately after taking the first/lowest dose of Zepbound

This is OP. I'm in therapy, but we don't talk about anything that gets rid of food noise. How did therapy help you with this?

Not PP, but therapy will not help with this. Obesity is a disease in which your body screams at you (via physiology, not psychology) to eat and holds on to fat. The right GLP1 at the right dose will deal with this. Not therapy.

I agree with a pp, have the foods you love, but small amounts of them. Really savor them. Like get a really good brownie. Don’t scroll on your phone while you eat it. Be mindful and truly enjoy the flavors and textures.
