Schools that you think of as rich kid schools. If you’re MC, will your dc fit in?

Your entire list of schools is accurate in that each has a lot of rich kids enrolled.

OP, based on your concern as illustrated by this thread, why is your child considering these schools ?

Dp this is such a weird question

(And I know there is a range here of admission stats)

Miami
USC
Colorado college
Wash U
Trinity
Dartmouth

My perhaps unfair impression is that these schools have a lot of wealthy entitled kids

Wrong? Sort of right?

Wrong none of these are where the ultra rich send their kids.

UMiami gets a lot of unwarranted hate but they will have a Trump granddaughter and a Bezo stepson next year. Doesn't get much richer than that.

Agree on Skidmore. The two people I know from the wealthiest families (like own half of Connecticut wealthy) went there.

High Point

Good add with High Point but it is really the school for 'midd' rich kids. Bottom 25% type of kid because the others have much stronger options.

I think there’s a high point booster on here

Rollins College. For a long time, it has been a destination for the NYC private school set.

Um, no

Wake was already kind of snooty when I was there in the 90s. Now that it costs $90k and they give very little aid …

That’s funny you’d say that. I’m from FL and know people who went there from my high school. I was surprised that there were kids from NY and NJ there. But yeah, you’re right.
