Where do you buy prints?

I ordered frames for original artwork through framedestination.com and was super happy with the result. However, I will say that it's helpful to know what you want - I'm not sure if they give any recommendations for how best to frame a piece.

I buy art there and on Chairish mostly. Occasionally at art fairs.

I'm not the PP who talked about Etsy but I hate it because:

1) They only allow you to review in the first few weeks of ownership. Once you've submitted a review, you cannot change it. If you've had something over a month, you cannot review it. It's a racket.

2) So. Many. Knockoffs and Chinese drop shippers. It's hard to tell who is the actual owner of the copyright of the product you are buying. If I buy something, I want the actual artist/creator to get the money I am spending.

3) Etsy always sides with the seller. Always.

I'm the first PP who hates Etsy and all the above and then some. For #3, I did not receive an item from the seller. I contested it with my credit card and the credit card didn't honor it because the seller showed proof of postage/(delivery?). THEN the seller messaged me that OH she found my package kicking around the BACK OF HER CAR and sent it along late.

She used a prepay posting thingie to print postage labels but had never actually brought it to the post office. So yes, ETSY is wayyyy at the bottom of my list of ethical vendors. Agree with the PP on buying directly from the artist. Good luck OP!
