Pie PP here. Good suggestion! I also add it to apple crisp. Just like 1/2 teaspoon to your normal pie or crisp recipe’s fruit part, and a shake or three to the crust/topping. I’m more of a wing it recipe modifier! I also sometimes add it to preserves, like peach cardamom vanilla. I am always mixing up the spices and acids in my preserves to add depth. Cooking is fun, add away! |
