It mean you will pay 1000% more. |
| It's really sad that the people that surround him don't dare try to explain these numbers to him. They actually prefer him making a fool of himself to the entire world over trying to tell him what percentages actually mean. And then the Republican Party allows him to set tariff amounts, knowing that he doesn't understand how percentages work (on top of not understanding how allies are supposed to work, how trade works, how the Constitution is supposed to work, how the different departments in the federal gov't are supposed to work, how vaccines and Tylenol and autism work, etc.!) |
It’s not sad, it’s downright scary. He spouts all kinds of nonsense on a daily basis, including made up facts and numbers, and they don’t correct him. Clearly they’re either afraid to correct him or he is their useful idiot. It’s not the right way to run the most powerful country on the Earth. |
| At least Trump is held to the same standard by the press as Biden was. |
This! |
|
I think the conclusion is that he just makes things up -- like this doozy:

This and it's not just in math. |
| The WH press corps is awful and won’t call him on it. Now Trumps own people are repeating the same stupid math. Sadly, millions of MAGA are math illiterates. |
He’s been making stuff up his whole life. But the stories are getting more and more ridiculou, pointing to confabulation, a common dementia symptom. This is where a person unknowingly creates and recounts false memories or experiences. |
This is the closest we’ve gotten to someone even attempting to question his shit math skills. https://www.facebook.com/watch/?v=1396916748244721&vanity=thedailyshow&http_ref=eyJ0cyI6MTc2MDIzMTQzMTAwMCwiciI6Imh0dHBzOlwvXC93d3cuZ29vZ2xlLmNvbVwvIn0%3D |
| It’s also curious that he doesn’t wear glasses just for reading at his age. He doesn’t even want to try reading texts or understanding numbers in print. If he cared to want to read/try to make sense of content, he’d put on glasses first. But it isn’t even worth the effort to him. He probably orders the same thing at every restaurant establishment and gets testy if a waiter at Mar-a-lago hands him a list of the evening’s specials. |
If only. |
He’s just not very smart for a President. |
Good thing you qualified that with "for a President."
