Today Trump held a press conference where he was touting prescription drug discounts. At the event he kept repeating that he would be reducing drug prices by 1,000%. How do you reduce drug prices by 1,000%? Does it mean that drug manufacturers will pay 900% of the price of the drug to its users?

I've had many mathematical discussions with 80 year old people. Numbers don't come together as quickly or accurately in an aging brain but it doesn't mean they're illiterate. People over the age of 70 are very unlikely to be the best options for the most important job in a country unless there are only a few hundred thousand or less people living in that country. Odds.

It's not dementia. Trump has been famously illiterate and innumerate his whole life. He is a nepo baby who hired people to do his thinking while he yells about being the boss and tells lies to rip off customers and partners. The reason he's so good at it is because he knows nothing, so he's able to freely speak his mind about whatever he wishes to be true, unburdened by the confusion and dissonance thsr people feel when something doesn't make sense.
