Kash never works. He just looks right and left with authority or nervousness.

Does Israel pay her off too?

That doesn’t make it normal. Also, this is the AG and she was a joke.

My fave part is when she asked the Harvard law graduate if he had a law degree. If she had done her homework, she would have known that. And any good lawyer does not ask a question unless they know the answer.

She looked desperate and dumb in that exchange.

OMG, where did that happen? I’ve only seen the highlights.

I sincerely hope you are cognizant of how far beyond the norms these people have pushed the discourse in the past nine months; in 52 years of observing congressional hearings, even in the most heated political climates I have never, ever seen executive agency officials treat senators with such utter contempt which is a disrespect of the American people who voted them (their senators) into office.

Everything this administration has done has stretched the bounds of propriety so perhaps they are shifting the Overton window sufficiently that the general public, not just MAGA, have come to accept this standard of conduct as the norm. I personally will remain appalled.

At 7:15 she asks if Schiff has a law degree...despite the fact that he began by mentioning that he is a former federal prosecutor.

Pammy went to Stetson Law, ranked #99 by US News and World Report.

Given that she's singlehandedly destroying the once venerable US Department of Justice, we can be confident that they didn't teach her legal ethics while she was a student there.

I continue to be appalled that the Republicans in Congress are so scared of Trump that they refuse to reclaim their power. Their cowardice has upended the system of checks and balances created by the framers. What needs to happen is for one or two cabinet members (especially thinking of RFK JR and perhaps Bondi) to be impeached and removed. (They also should never have been confirmed). I actually agree with the pundits who advocate for letting the ACA credits expire and then have the Republican congressmembers be put in the position of having to defend their constituents' skyrocketing healthcare costs. None of this will change until the people who voted for these clowns start to experience real consequences from it such as skyrocketing costs, measles outbreaks, etc.

m’eh, the prior conduct of democrats made this all possible. Live with it.

She was the perfectly prepared MAGA woman, and she snarled and barked and growled just as her master intended. It was an unassailable performance for the intended audience.

As an attorney myself I was disgusted; I've not seen anything like it in 50+ years of closely following American politics. For what she's done to the DOJ she should lose her law license and be shunned, but I suspect this won't happen except in my dreams.

I am not an attorney. Her lack of responses and ad hominem attacks were juvenile. I am curious about the legal view of this. What are the rules in an oversight hearing? Are there privileged items she need not answer? Are there things she’s obligated to answer?

What are grounds for dismissal or disbarment?

If this is an example of such actions, who and what bodies can commence such proceedings?

The Republicans in the House and Senate have ceded all their powers to the unitary executive.

Trump's hires don't need to answer Congress's questions because Congress no longer matters.

As long as her Lord and Master is in place, no harm will come to his most loyal subjects.

Sauron must fall first. Then doom will come to the various Mouthpieces and Ringwraiths.

Anonymous wrote:She arrived for her Congressional hearing completely unprepared, except for a ludicrous collection of unhinged MAGA attacks and talking points.

She dodged and refused to answer questions about Epstein, she dodged and refused to answer questions about Comey, she dodged and refused to answer questions about the Homan bribery scandal, she refused to answer questions about her weaponization of the DoJ against Democrats, and about the use of National Guard in blue cities. No answers, no explanations or justifications.

Instead she spewed a string of MAGA talking points, personal attacks and conspiracy theories. And now we know that this was her strategy from the outset. Journalists at the hearing captured photos of her notes - she had nothing of relevance prepared. All she had was a collection of personal attacks and bogus talking points. She never had any intention of answering questions.

I've never seen such a disgraceful display in Congress. They should hold her in contempt, start impeachment proceedings, and work to disbar her.

This sums up the whole administration-disgraceful.

The best description of his deer caught in the headlights look is "he looks as though he is trying to take a brick of cocaine through customs"
