Pam Bondi is a joke

She arrived for her Congressional hearing completely unprepared, except for a ludicrous collection of unhinged MAGA attacks and talking points.

She dodged and refused to answer questions about Epstein, she dodged and refused to answer questions about Comey, she dodged and refused to answer questions about the Homan bribery scandal, she refused to answer questions about her weaponization of the DoJ against Democrats, and about the use of National Guard in blue cities. No answers, no explanations or justifications.

Instead she spewed a string of MAGA talking points, personal attacks and conspiracy theories. And now we know that this was her strategy from the outset. Journalists at the hearing captured photos of her notes - she had nothing of relevance prepared. All she had was a collection of personal attacks and bogus talking points. She never had any intention of answering questions.

I've never seen such a disgraceful display in Congress. They should hold her in contempt, start impeachment proceedings, and work to disbar her.

Not that anything that happened at that hearing will ever matter, but I feel like the most effective Democrat was Adam Schiff, who rattled off a long list of previously asked questions that Bondi had refused to answer. That's about all you can do with hostile witnesses.

Oh c'mon, Eva Blondi had her hair perfectly arranged, her nails were impeccably done, and all her sparkly bling was in place. She was the perfectly prepared MAGA woman, and she snarled and barked and growled just as her master intended. It was an unassailable performance for the intended audience.

As an attorney myself I was disgusted; I've not seen anything like it in 50+ years of closely following American politics. For what she's done to the DOJ she should lose her law license and be shunned, but I suspect this won't happen except in my dreams.

I thought she looked worse than usual, frankly like the Cryptkeeper wearing a blonde wig but as long as she had unblinking loyalty and the fake blonde thing going on that's all that mattered.

My fave part is when she asked the Harvard law graduate if he had a law degree. If she had done her homework, she would have known that. And any good lawyer does not ask a question unless they know the answer.

She looked desperate and dumb in that exchange.
