Idk what potato face is but I only mentioned because OP mentioned she is in menopause. A lot of collegen is lost in menopause due to estrogen deficiency.

More likely she's talking about jowls or sagging, that might require a facelift. I am same age as OP and my face that used to be heart shaped is now more square because gravity.

OP, if retinols are too strong, you could try azelaic acid which is supposed to help the rosacea, too.
