What is your urinary symptoms like in peri?

I was going to say it sounds like op has interstitial cystitis. I’ve had it my whole life, but always much worse in the lead up to my period and first couple days of my period, and is widely viewed as having a hormonal component. For my whole life, I just thought I was always on the verge of getting a uti. But not so. Google often suggested interstitial cystitis but I always wrote it off because I never had urgency of any sort, and urgency is often listed as the primary symptom of IC. But once I got past that and looked at all the other symptoms, it was shocking how much it matched. Down to things like it being triggered by tight pants on my crotch. Just something to think about when you talk to your md.

I thought I damaged myself in childbirth but when I went in HRT, I went back to my old self in terms of being able to hold it (including all night).
