That's the point. It's all so ridiculous. A kid from ND has a vastly better chance of getting into Yale that any prodigy living in Northern VA or MD. So does a kid with Hollywood royalty as parents (looking at you Violet Affleck.) The whole admissions game is BS. This young woman sounds like a nutter herself but it's good to see the scam exposed for what it is. |

There’s no question that first year female roommate dynamics was a huge part of this. I had two roommates who were okay with having a black girl in their triple until they found out that I didn’t smoke weed and didn’t hang out with black guys who dated white girls. I had no utility for them other than as a potential source of drugs and d!ck. Things got very bad, very fast. |

Are you suggesting that the roommate went sneaking around Lynn's stuff because she didn't like having an Asian roommate? It does sound like the roommate disliked/distrusted Lynn for some reason that we'll never know, but I doubt it was racial. Given the lengths Lynn went to perpetrate fraud, I'm not surprised there was something off about her in person. |
