Visible abs on women aren't necessarily a sign of poor health. Some have naturally thin waists, long torsos and for these, it doesn't take as much work as for others.

Of course, if they take drugs to get there... not good.

My DH is a big boxing fan, not into MMA at all. When we first started dating he took me to a lot of fights in Vegas, I knew what they were before that. I think most adult woman know what they are.

I’m so confused. Is he threatened by you commenting positively on her appearance like your more sexually attracted to her than him? Do you comment on other peoples bodies very often and he finds it obnoxious/judgmental and this was a last straw kind of thing? Is either he or you self conscious about your body so any kind of body talk feels pointed?

For those who don’t watch boxing etc I would say, while the jobs are very different, this would be comparable to commenting on a cheerleader having great abs. They are hot women at a sporting event.

Visible abs are a sign of poor health (starvation). It has nothing to due with fitness or muscle.

LMAO found the chunker. With optimal bf% the abs should just barely be visible where you can make them out in overhead lighting. Of course it will vary according to genetics, as some have more pronounced abs than others.
