You are paralyzed and overwhelmed. Pick one subscription per day and just do it. Unsubscribe to emails at the same time you are doing this so you aren’t tempted again.

How many subscriptions do you have? I have Spotify and Life360. Netflix is free with our cell phone plan. Do people have that many that it makes such a difference?

Netflix, amazon, disney+, paramount, peacock are all seperate subscriptions for me. And that's just streaming entertainment. Pretty common to have 10+ subscriptions.

There WAS click-to-cancel. It was passed under the Biden admin, and the Trump admin vacated the rule right before it was supposed to take effect. Pour one out for the CFPB. Had to get rid of the whole agency to make sure corporate profits were safe.

Those are all entertainment. If you're a professional, chances are you also have a dozen+ newspapers, magazines, and substacks to keep up with your field.

Divorce is one of the most stressful life experiences that don’t involve anyone dying. It’s emotional, it’s expensive, it requires a sh!t ton of paperwork, it involves a lot of uncertainty about the future, and it affects one’s finances, living arrangements, and time with one’s children. PP you replied to. I stand by what I said. I have mild ADHD, and I have forgotten some subscriptions for a while before remembering I had them. So I know what I'm talking about. I had to search for them one by one and cancel them. BTDT.

OP can do it. If she starts whining about something so minor, how is she going to live the rest of her life? This is nothing compared to, say, dealing with complex medical billing and their associated errors in multiple departments that don't talk to each other, all when you're very sick. Which I've also had to do!
