Last year. I googled for the DC travel forum and DCUM kept coming up and so I looked. And was hooked.

Was extremely unhappy with our assigned MCPS school around 15 years ago because the quality of education was horrible and as an international family I was horrified by how low the quality of instruction was. I could not imagine that it would become even worse. My kids thankfully got into magnet track but I still had to supplement heavily because they were not competitive with what was being taught in my country of origin.
I started reading the MCPS forum. Then started reading other forums. And then saw how due to poor education system, racial inequality, racial entitlement, extreme right and extreme left ideologies, and short sighted domestic and foreign policies - USA has ceased to be the superpower of the world. Unbelievable. |
Researching baby and school stuff around 2010. I miss how active it used to be. I think young parents must mostly use other platforms now.
18:59: maybe USA has superpower-fatigue?
Urban baby/ybm/wbm refugee. Finally left that bot filled cesspool for greener pastures. So far so good!
