I've been a bunch and never seen this happen. It's a lot of families with younger kids.

I feel the best attire in anticipation of porta-potties is a short skirt. And bring extra tissue, just in case.

Have also been several times and never saw anyone vomit.

Did you spend all your time stationed at the trash cans like any rational person?

Ok, I’ve definitely never seen anyone be sick but behavior does get kinda rowdy as the day goes on. It’s a different vibe from 10-20 years ago, where it was more laidback quirky/nerdy people and families. Now it’s lots of people in random costumes, often hitting the pubs hard etc. Still it’s fun if you can manage to get tickets!

Get there early. Go to all the shows. They are fun. Jousting is hot.

We also don’t get dressed up or seen people vomit. It’s a nice family friendly festival. The food is novel, albeit overpriced. It’s fun. We love it.

Agree

Costumes have really morphed into part Ren-fest and part Comic-Con (with some rando leftover Halloween costumes mixed in).

Gotta get the Ye Olde Chocolate Covered Key Lime Pie On A Stick. You won't find anything more authentic.

Y’all need to come up to the Pennsylvania Ren fest.

It isn’t forested like Crownsville but they have nice bathroom facilities.
