When do you shift to drop off only

Play date at our house or a friend's house- kindergarten.

For birthday parties, first/second grade depending on the venue.

If I am friends with the parent we will usually talk about it ahead of time if we want to hang out too, but it is not the default.

Say "thank you for having her. See you at 3pm!" Or whatever and that's it

I currently live abroad (Europe) and dropoff play dates start at 4-5 years old. It is glorious.

Um... 13?! I was having movie theater "dates" at 13. I would have died if my mom stuck around in the lobby.
