????? What does the "tax"mean ?

NP. The "tax" is the tiny scraps you deliberately drop on the floor when you're preparing food or eating.

Purina One Chicken and Rice. 1.5 cups a day for our 65 lb. mutt. Plus the cheese tax, of course. It seems to agree with him very well but we have cut back because he was starting to look a little wide.
Our previous dog was a tiny thing and she got Iams mini-chunks since they

*since they are the only grocery store brand that makes the tiny chunks for tiny mouths.*

We feed Rachel ray nutrish. There is a new variety with no grains. We also feed a fair amount of healthy people food. Zucchini, potatoes, some meat, eggs.

Salmon and sweet potato kibble from Costco or Sam's depending on where we are when we need to replenish.

Then I feed him a mix of the Purina One Lamb&Rice with a Purina packet of soft foot (chunks or ground). He's a healthy 10 year old lab so I don't feel the need to change much!

This is what we feed our healthy 100lb Great Pyr. She also often gets some egg in the morning, veg (green beans and sweet potatoes are favorites), and whatever else the kids sneak her that they don’t want to eat.

We do this too, the Unkibble. All the taxes plus usually some kind of topper like cooked ground meat. I have the unicorn picky eater Golden and we settled on this as acceptable after trying a bunch of other brands.
