Well this tracks because the GOP doesn’t want a working government.
Statements like this make me realize how dumb people are. They don’t understand what government does. They don’t understand AI and AI’s limits. |
AI is really not there yet in terms of applications. A lot of government work is also front facing and robotics is not advancing at the same pace as AI. Also a lot of these projections were based on AI continuing to advance at a constant rate and recent releases have not shown that to be the case. Anyone thinking that AI is capable of doing this within this presidency is a fool. |
And Kash Valhala just testified (seconds ago) that AI is a huge problem |
Working in the public sector has historically been one of the few ways for people to achieve social mobility so maybe it should be a line in the sand. |
Let's not forget all of the water they require to cool. Why are we giving up precious resources in a time of climate change so people can generate stupid memes. |
The point being is that your stereotypical government worker was fine with all those other people being sacrificed on the altar of progress, so now there really isn’t anyone willing to lock arms with them. It’s really a self-own. They really did think they were some special class immune to consequences. |
did ai tell you that |
they said that about the car too |
On the flip side this could enable those in public service to better focus on more impactful and meaningful work while passing on mundane tasks to AI assistants.
It could free up their time to focus on things that a human with empathy can really make a difference. |
Who will buy all the junk created by the billionaires? |
That is simply wrong. Most federal employees don’t want jobs leaving the US, certainly didn’t cheer it on, though they may have encouraged miners to code because lung cancer sucks… |
|
That's just it. Without regulations, the miners are screwed and will end up walking around with oxygen tanks (best case scenario). Trump will just toss a Bible at them and tell them everyone's praying hard for them to get well so they can get back to work. |
How about "AI" as President! AI2025 ! ? |
My spouse had to call the IRS 3x this year for an error they had in our records. First person didn’t know how to fix it. Second person saw the record of the case and promised to fix it but didn’t. Third person actually fixed it manually after a 50 minute call. I shudder to think of an AI dominated world where we have no humans around to fix the records when systems go wrong. |
