The best way to eat American nachos is by nuking tortilla chips with lots of shredded cheese. So much better than nacho cheese goop.

Or to load them up with ground beef, beans, black olives, salsa, etc., and top it off with cheese before you nuke it.

So it's really plastic? Or has some kind of plastic element?

Of course not.

There is truly no replacement for Velveeta. Trust me, I have tried to replicate it, but truly nothing can compete with the American cheese product.

Here's my favorite recipe, which is for the "sunset sauce" that you used to be able to get at Tortilla Coast in DC.

Blend 2 jalapeños (seeded or not - you decide!) + 2 bunches of cilantro with a 1/4 cup whole milk. Add to a melted brick of Velveeta and stir. Add more milk if needed. Enjoy!

Yes, this is delicious, but an ENTIRELY different food than cheeze goo.

Most packaged foods now have microplastics imbedded in them. Will probably have to list them on the ingredient list soon.

Literally there is a person who died after eating and getting food poisoning from, if I remember correctly from convenience store.
My kids know the story and they don’t eat it.

Velveeta was a disappointment when I tried to use it for some "junky" kid's mac & cheese. It wasn't cheesy enough. I ended up adding in a lot of shredded cheddar and butter (and even some dry mustard).

The Wegman's cheese sauce is very good but it comes in smallish pouches.
I think there's no replacement for a huge can of Sysco sauce that they use in restaurants but I'd have to hang out at a loading dock in a miniskirt with cash to score that, I'd imagine.

There have been people who died after getting listeria from food bar lettuce. Are your kids afraid of salad too?

I haven’t had it probably since I was 20. I’m 40 now, but yes it is good. I prefer nachos with fake liquid cheese over shredded cheese- but I never get nachos either way.

It is so, so good. Any kind of crappy cheese sauce, actually - a restaurant around us served tater tots with cheese sauce. My god.

I also love good, authentic high end cheese and cheese sauce. I don't see why I have to choose.
