I agree and do great without, however, almost anytime someone stays over, they want a microwave. I think we should have one for guests alone. Not everyone is as picky about heating methods and its frustrating not to have your home conveniences.

GE Profile microwave/convection oven going on 18 years (sure just by saying that I've now doomed it to break). Only use the convection oven at Thanksgiving and Christmas, and am glad to have it then

I just got a Panasonic (not the air fryer combo) and it really does heat and defrost evenly - a lot better than its 10 year old predecessor.
