If Black feds account for almost 1 in 5 federal employees, and the projection is 300k fewer employees from 12/2024-12/2025, and an even greater percentage at Ed and other departments with large cuts, I could see 60-90k of that 300K being Black.

Anything other than firing them proportionally with their staffing would be illegal. We can’t avoid firing people because of their race and gender.

I suppose if DEI encourages hiring of minorities and is legal, doing the reverse is legal as well?
