You will enjoy retirement

Wake up naturally (between 6:30-8:30 for me depending on how tired I am).
Coffee and NYT games. Long walk in almost any weather. More coffee, breakfast with family, who is ready to eat now (teens). Long shower, clean house, read. A few errands with my DH, just the two of us. Cook a great dinner to eat with family. Game or more reading or crosswords, then a movie in bed. Next day, same, but dinner out. Maybe a short hike with family instead of a solo walk. I'm not difficult! |

| My husband and kids leave and I get the house to myself for 48 hours. |

Depends on the weekend. I'm a teacher and just finished my first week of school. I'm exhausted big time so this weekend I will do next to nothing. I need to clean my house but I probably won't. I went to bed by 8:30 last night because I couldn't keep my eyes open.
A perfect weekend is no plans on Friday night. Maybe take out and watching TV. Saturday would be taking my dog to the dog park or hiking and then going to dinner with a friend or my son who is in college not too far away. Sunday is a bit of housework or occasional cooking/baking. |
| It looks like an escape. |

| Surprised by how many people actually want to declutter or deep clean! I hate that stuff. No wonder my house is such a mess lol. |
| A perfect weekend is one where I am completely alone and no one needs me for anything. I can just sit unbothered in one place for the entire weekend. |
