Which colleges are best for Appled math?

Va Tech has an excellent program.

St Olaf is a smaller private college in MN. Main drawback is the cold winters. Has a really strong Math program -- very good grad school
Options will exist for anyone from there. (They also are strong in CS and in Music.)

+1 A family friend is studying applied math at Brown and really likes it. Applied ED.

Brown, my kid has taken a lot of math (he’s computer engineering) and some applied math classes and all have been phenomenal so far
