Which LACs attract the most affluent students?

This thread is hilarious
If you already have generational wealth, why the need for so much networking? Serious question.
Are you looking for friends? Spouse? Something else?

This list is about LACs. Also, no one cares about rich MAGAs in Texas except rich MAGAs in Texas.

What is with all the threads about LACs recently? Is it the same very insecure poster?

This is super common. I've been on DCUM where the top 10+ threads are all LAC comparisons, ED to LAC discussions, and LAC vs R1 debates. You'd honestly have to tell me you're new for me to believe that you're surprised. Like always, it's mostly about the "WASP"

Bucknell strangely absent. No word yet if the involvement of rich parents translates to a pipeline to the street.

1) Washington & Lee
2) Middlebury
3) Colgate
4) Colby
5) Davidson
6) Trinity
7) Williams
8) Amherst
9) Richmond
10) Bowdoin
11) Bates
12) Skidmore
13) Sewanee
14) Haverford
16) Connecticut College
17) Kenyon
18) Wesleyan
19) Hamilton
20) Rhodes

Your point?

True old money would never slum it out to attend 5Cs. The only LACs old money would attend are Williams, Wellsley and maybe Amherst, Barnard, and Vassar.

West coast no way.

Beverly Hills is not old money lmao. A lot of it is international money or relatively recent business leaders.

Either way, I very much think you're BSing if you think Vassar is the choice of a west coast wealthy family over Pomona.

I don’t think wealthy people need to question on an online forum what schools are acceptable for their children, nor do they need a ranking.

You might want to spend some time on the Middlebury campus before you settle on that statement. Same thing holds for W&L and the old money VA crowd. Your list is good but needs to be expanded a bit.

Have you people been to Williams in any recent time? Most of the wealthy people these days are international students.

their CDS says
2071 enrolled
1222 applied for aid
1092 given any aid

That;s a lot of kids paying full fare. Unless williams is 50% international?
