Bug Out Bag/Emergency Supplies

At work, anything that means roads are closed and I need to walk far— snow or ice, some sort of terrorist attack, etc.
in my car, being stuck in bad weather mostly. Like if my car goes off the road in snow.
At home loss of power mostly.

In my house I have a box with a wind up radio, some meds, water, and some random food (peanut butter, crackers, and pop tarts).
In my office I keep an old backpack with water, light sticks, granola bars, an old pair of sneakers, and socks.

So what are your various scenarios? Stuck on the side of the road, stuck in the office, shelter at home -- for what reasons? I have a bunch of emergency supplies but I'm not sure what I need where because I can't really imagine a plausible scenario. If there is political unrest the roads will be clogged etc.

Here's a list of recent(ish) events that have made me thankful I had some basic prep on hand:

Asst. cuts/scrapes
power outages
a busted water pipe that left us without water for a few days
storms/flooding (I got to use the cordless mini chainsaw to take down some downed branches, which was fun)
my car breaking down and needing to use it as shelter for several hours
a neighbor's minor kitchen fire that would've been a major problem if we didn't have multiple extinguishers
Everyone in our house getting noro and missing the weekly shopping trip (so we used "deep pantry" stash)
the ability to help strangers I encounter on the road (I carry cables, a compressor, and a few other car-specific tools)

More than anything, it helps me feel a bit of control over things I can't control. I don't worry about the power going out because we have backup plans. If things go really wrong, I'll be able to keep my family safe for a bit and help my neighbors get through it. Not having a basic kit is like betting that you'll never have problems. I wouldn't take that bet in this or any political climate.

I have to go to work no matter what, which means I've driven in some awful conditions.
I have jumper cables
Flares
First aid kit
Break glass/seat belt things
Flashlight and batteries
Camping chair
Shovel
Blanket
Water
Granola or protein bars
I keep a portable charger charged
Gloves
Hat
Extra socks
Hand warming packets

In the summer I switch out the cold weather stuff for battery powered small fan, cooling blanket, heat visor

Since 2020 more people are bugging in rather than bugging out.

Myself, I am staying ahead of the curve and bugging side ways. I won't scream or nothing.

I'll even bug zig zag, to keep them guessing.
