| Snooping on their parents. |
| I have a 14 year old cousin who uses it specifically to send me random memes. |
| I mainly use it for Facebook groups. |
| It’s the main tool used at DD’s HS for its messenger feature. Groups also seem to use it to post “come to X club” type info stuff. She does not post anything - but uses messenger constantly and says it’s actually tough for kids not on it since it’s more of a pain to communicate with the few # that boycott FB. |
+1 my 19yo joined this summer to shop apartment furniture |
That’s ridiculous. It’s open to everyone 13 and over. They wouldn’t survive if it was only one small group of older people. |

Mine joined for about four weeks but never posted anything. His main reason was that he wanted to keep up with older cousins (who also never post anything, lol).
Eventually Facebook deactivated his account because they thought it was fake. DS didn’t care because he thought FB was “boring”. I’m with him there. My own feed is about 80% random stuff and 20% actual friends. |
| LOOKING UP TEACHERS INFO. |
This is why mine have one. We live in a gated community and they get tons of babysitting work through the neighborhood FB page. |
