Chicken marbella
Couscous |
| Perhaps hire a private chef? |
| Make a Caesar and caprese salad at home, make a loaf of Italian bread or buy a loaf from Whole Foods that you can heat there, make chicken parm at home and put in the baking dish so you just have to do the final bake at their house, store bought tiramisu |
For a special birthday? The above sounds like something i would compose for a weeknight dinner. I liked the suggestion to use the service where the meal is cooked at the special person's house by professional chefs, and they also bring all the china, etc and handle all the clean up. That's essentially what a private chef would do but under this service you have the reliability that the chef would be excellent. There's a lot of quality variations in the private chef world. |
That's mailing it in for a meal train. OP said special. |
Well then forget I suggested it. She should just pay Bobby flay to some cook for everyone. |
| Put the crispy spinach in the air fryer. Ask them to put sauce on the side |
It's a bizarre suggestion for an OP looking for a fancy meal and creative ideas. |

For more traditional oldsters, could order an Omaha Steaks package or a lobster seafood boil.
If we were going to cook on site, I might look for a Marley Spoon kit shipment. |
$300-$400 a person is more than "pretty" luxurious I would say. |
I feel completely differently. This would be the most appealing meal to me of everything mentioned. I would, though, go all out on a dessert, with her homemade or something fabulous and orate if that’s what would be appreciated. For the actual Andre, I think most restaurant meals Basically suck. Doing a nice salad, right, and tomatoes at their peak, can be a really nice starter, along with an entrée everyone likes, if that’s the case. In my view, the more elaborate parts can be wine, dessert, possibly a great Cheese plate. As an entrée alternative, or addition, you could also do good crabcakes, which are easy to heat, can be delicious. Or better yet, put time into making an entrée, or appetizer, or whatever that has some personal significance to someone he’ll be attending. |
| Can we stop suggesting the stupid NYT chicken schwarma and caprese salad on every single thread in this forum? Those are such tired suggestions. |
| Did not get the impression that OP is a cook or would enjoy taking on the work for the night. |
