Your school counselor's answer was inaccurate. Most schools do not require FAFSA for merit. As a PP mentioned, there are a few schools that do, but that's rare. Check your schools' scholarship websites. |

While others have out in hours/ week over 10 weeks of summer attending workshops, listening to everybody-thinks-they-still-know-how-admissions-work-30yearslater podcsts, reading blogs, meeting with financial planners and counselors. Even universities and AOs don't know what's to come with the changes this upcoming year. |
