Just 73,000 jobs added in July!

BLS lost a large number of people to VERA and DRP. There wasn’t enough time to smoothly transition everything.

Even low wage jobs are hard to find. I have two young adults who have been searching all summer. One found summer camp work that ended last week, the other in retail. She is never given more than 18 hours a week.

He said he will replace her with someone who gives accurate information and not fake, political job numbers. That’s code for, Trump will appoint someone who will report the numbers Trump instruct and not the truth.
smh
Anything to distract from the Epstein files

+1 Next month’s revision won’t look that good, check out today’s revisions for May and June.

It will depend on who is in charge of releasing the numbers.

People born in America, jobs are up, foreign born jobs are down.

It doesn’t matter who it is. Anyone in that position now knows that if you don’t provide the numbers Dear Leader wants, you will be fired. You can’t trust any economic numbers from the government going forward.

So Trump wants to have a coverup and lie to us about his horrible jobs report.

What a sham President. What a failure.

You can stop defending the data in these pathetic jobs reports, Trump has decided it’s all fake and fired the people responsible.

Not true. 60% of college grads from the class of 2024 do not have jobs. A lot of middle management and obviously a lot of federal workers are out of jobs and looking.

According to the government report, it is true.

It's clear that Trump will fudge economic statistics in the future, just like Argentina did 10 years ago. But the markets and consumers have the final word. When our credit rating is wrecked, interest rates surge, and bond markets crash it won't take economic statisticians to tell voters that Trump screwed them. They'll know because their kids will be out of work, and a hunk of beef will cost $35.

Where will we get the accurate numbers? Does any independent private organization collect this data?

The president doesn’t think the government report is true.

ADP puts out monthly jobs data but it’s not anywhere near as comprehensive as the government data.
