Layering sun block and make up

I find my makeup pills if I use both sunscreen and moisturizer. My workaround is to use a moisturizing sunscreen for day time and a regular moisturizer at night. I use biore uv aqua rich weightless moisturizer (spf50).

Do not skip sunscreen because you’re wearing foundation.

I also use Elta MD sunscreen and I put it on after foundation. I work indoors and don’t re-apply. Applying foundation with a makeup sponge keeps it from pilling. I saw a YouTube video where a derm recommended applying sunscreen with a makeup sponge if you do have to reapply during the day.

I use SkinCeuticals sunscreen then a tinted moisturizer with SPF. I do not reapply. If I’m in the sun for a short time I wear a hat. On beach/tennis/outside days I don’t wear the tinted spf and just apply sunscreen every couple hours.
