Today’s was easy compared to some of the words recently. Well, I guess if you got unlucky today’s (July 31) would be hard because there are a lot of words that end in those letter combinations. But I didn’t get one last week and it killed my streak. I’ve noticed that when you review the stats after the puzzle, some of the recent puzzles had like a 70-80% solve rate, and when you get a bunch of those in a row, there’s a lot of people who had their streaks messed up recently.

I was proud of myself for getting assay yesterday! Got today’s in five because I keep trying other words with the same last three letters.

Got it in 3 today. I can't remember another time the Bot didn't get it. And gofer was one I missed. I have always spelled that gofor.
