FWIW, I like Boca burgers, but the reviewers didn’t. I don’t know if you’d consider them particularly healthy.

Dairy is fine?

I make great paneer, potatoes, peas, herbs and spices patties (called "tikki" in Hindi) at home - and it is delicious.

Or - skip all that labor and get the easy frozen option from the Indian grocery stores. It is fool proof and extremely good. There is no end to how versatile this is - kids lunch box, side, snack, wrap, sandwich, burger etc.

Wow that looks delicious! I am definitely going to try that. But it’s not what I want here, which is something to grill that goes with the traditional American condiments.

But thank you!! Do you have specific condiment suggestions for the tikki?

I know it's not what OP is looking for but I second the person who said boca burgers if that's possible with the allergies. Most burger recipes, though yummy, are mushy and won't hold up on the grill, and have added flavors to combat the blindness of the potato or beans holding them together, so they won't typically go with condiments.

I never think veggie burgers are worth the effort. If grilling I would grill a bbq tofu slab instead or have something else entirely.

I’ve been looking for a great veggie burger recipe but haven’t really found one. It seems like something with mushroom, lentils, sweet potato and maybe ground oats would work but I haven’t found a recipe.
We often do grilled halloumi along with burgers and it’s good on a roll with sliced tomatos, lettuce, onions, etc. c

Ketchup works. Ranch works. Mint chutney (also frozen from indian grocery) works. Chic-fil-a sauce works. Burger king Zesty sauce. Any salsa... Truly, it works with any type of dressing and sauce because it is basically potatos and paneer.

Boca Burgers do great on the grill.

I like to add a slice of Swiss cheese.
