| So you like the way you dress. And felt a need to post on this obscure board about it? To get what, internet head pats? |
| You could try dresses too. I like those and my legs feel more free. |
|
Warning: once you go to more casual soft pants, you'll never want to go back to pencil skirts again.
|
Not OP, but how does any of this hurt you. Just move along if you’re not interested. |
| at home all day in a pencil skirt? this is frightening |
| I've teleworked, at least part-time, for the past 20 years. I feel no need to dress a certain way for my desk job. Think about it this way - did you need to "dress up" when you were a student to study for or take an exam? If you feel like "office wear" puts you in the mind-set to perform a certain set of tasks, then cool. I don't personally feel I need to dress in any particular way to perform at a high level. I wear whatever I feel like wearing on a given day - anything from a button down shirt and jeans to workout wear to a pretty dress. |
+1. That and putting on this getup very early morning to go out and walk the dog is almost trollish, and I'm someone who wore a skirt suit and 4 inch heels daily for most of my career before wfh full time. Almost trollish. |

I think the thing about OP’s post is that there was a lot of this in 2020, 2021, 2022. So this feels like an old news complaint, even though she’s going through it now when some people did years ago.
But OP, I definitely talk to people who are fully dressed/make-upped while sitting at home. More power to you. But like a poster said, maybe look for more places to go outside of your house all dressed up? |
OP needs attention and validation. |
| You wear a pencil skirt and blouse to walk your dog? And you think you’re the normal one here? |

+1 She want's to feel superior to those who wear soft clothes all day. |
You're not out in a pencil skirt and silk blouse in "feels like 109" temps picking up dog poop? |
lol And no sane person is! Such an idiotic post! |
| That's why I go out at 6am or 630am. It's not 109 then. |
