I don't mind it either ... I just think it'd be fun to have the champs play each other -- although that's probably not logistically possible OR smart given the amount of soccer already played. |
They can do that in college. For the moment, they are all having success and buying a lot of $90 hoodies. |
Youth sports tourism in action! |
If I ever have to go to Orlando again, it will be too soon. |
| While USYS gets dragged by the "elite" leagues, it's pretty cool/great exposure to have some of their national championship matches on ESPN U this morning! Rest of the matches also live streamed on YouTube. |
lol those clubs are awful. |
The Clubs? Or these four teams? Please elaborate |
What could the significance be in having the champions all play eachother? |
To crown a true national champion for each age group. |
Very funny. ECNL>GA>USYSA |
In general perhaps, BUT USYS teams do beat ECNL and GA teams from time-to-time. Regardless, this is all water cooler talk unless they settle it on the field. |
They would have to beat the best ECNL team though. A lot of the top e64 teams play Jefferson cup. |
Right. Usys natty is the zombie temple cup series of soccer |
Let's see it, then. Otherwise, it's just each league with their own nattys -- no more, no less. |
OK ... Is that all you got? Punching down? ... That usually means the bully is ripe for a big fall. Frankly, the "elite" leagues wouldn't be as stacked as they are without players developed in the USYS. Sometimes, the only thing they are "elite" in is their marketing. |
