There are companies out there that will bring a fire truck direct to your house for the birthday party www.BubbasFireTruckParties.com...what a lot of people dont know is if you are at the firehouse and the company gets a call, all the trucks are leaving and your left with 12 screaming kids in a concrete building..when private companys come to your house they arent leaving and create a personalized experience like no other..

We made a donation to the Rockville Fire Department and they brought a truck out to the house. Let the kids climb though..hung out a bit. The only problem is the obviously can't totally commit to it if an emergency comes up. They were very nice and made my son feel special.

We went to a 3rd birthday at a firestation off Braddock road in Alexandria. Totally unsolicited advice but I think 4 is a better age. Most of the kids in attendance were mildly interested and got bored by the end.

We tried to have the bubbaville fire unit come out and have our sons party in Falls Church but found out that it is beyond there service area but they were accomadating and gave us a range of area that they will come like montgomery and PG county parks and we were able to find a pavillion in Anacostia park in dc for his party. We just booked it, so i will report after his party in late september..

So how many kids can attend one of these parties? I'm in MoCo so I'm thinking of either Rockville or Germantown fire stations.

I believe the Germantown station (that has the website) takes up to 15 kids.

So how was he party? I'm considering it for my sons 2nd birthday but am concerned that kids may be too young. Thoughts?

We had Capitol Fire Trucks come to our house (age 3 bday party) and it was the best party I've seen for little kids.

Google search to find their website, for some reason my search was stalled.
