Still seems odd to me that any fire station lets you do this- but it would be tons of fun for my son! I have been calling around with no lcuk....

Thanks in advance....

Try the Rockville Fire Station -- the one by the town center.

Kensington VFD, Plyers Mill and Connecticut Ave. You just get a room and a tour. You need to set up, clean up and bring everything. FYI, the room was not spotless, but everyone had a good time regardless. You are not guaranteed a tour if they need to go out on multiple calls. So you need to have activities lined up.

Hi try the Falls Church Volunteer Fire Dept. I had my son's 4th birthday party there. Was great!

I have been to several at the Falls Church Volunteer Fire department and they are great but if you are interested call right away, they book up way in advance.

I second the Kensington FD. We had my son's party there a few years back. It is a do it yourself setup, though. Cost is a donation to the FD. We got a tour of the fire station, and kids got to climb on the fire truck.

My son went to a birthday party at a fire station in Germantown a few years ago. He had a blast. Im not sure which one it was though.

Falls Church all the way! They gave a tour of the firehouse, a safety demonstration with full fire fighter gear, fire truck stuff AND they slid down the pole - it was great!

We had ours at Kensington last year. It was awesome and they only require a donation of any size you want to give. they gave an amazing tour.

OP here - thank you all! I called Rockville - but the child has to be 4 - my son is turning 3.

Those of you who have done this - did the fire house have a minimum age of 4?
