DH intentionally falling asleep on couch to avoid cpap

It warrants discussion, but ultimately - you can’t change him. You can, however, set some boundaries- tell him you will start setting aside money of your own for long term care that he will need when apnea effects catch up to him, or for you and kids to live on in case of his premature death.

Major turn off.

As a man who uses one.. it’s fine. I use a nasal pillow and the breathing through my nose puts me to sleep in about 6 minutes. It’s really not bad and its vastly preferable to all the health problems from not using it.

You sound really difficult to live with OP. No, you can’t make him use the cpap. If you don’t want to wash the extra dishes, just don’t do it. Your way is not the only way to do things in life.
