DH curses non-stop

Anonymous
I’m a wife who curses a lot. My husband hates it. He knew this before I married him. It isn’t going to change.

I send him articles when studies come out that say things like “smart people curse a lot.” My tween makes bank because I pay her $3 every time I do it in front of her.

He does stuff that annoys me too.

Life goes on and we are happy.

Meh, pick your battles. Nagging him about cussing is very maternal and he won't like it, and start viewing you like his mom rather than wife.

Don’t marry an Irishman next time…they will insert a curse word into literally any sentence.

Same. Swearing is good for my mental health.

Smart people have better vocabularies and don’t rely on shock value words to express themselves.

It's a curve. Really intelligent people tend to have more limited vocabularies and speak less than average.

As the saying goes, "The dumber the person, the more loud they are." Not just referring to decibel levels either.
