You have no idea what you're talking about. There are more historical houses, good schools, and nice restaurants available to the low-six-figure earner in Auburn or Montgomery or Mobile than within the greater DC area. |
Alabama "rich" DMV "poor." |
If your argument is that you'd rather have a sh!tty life in DC than a nice standard of living in Alabama...well, you win no matter what I guess.
But who could love DC so much? I don't get it. |
Seems like they are on the higher end of UMC. UMC is, by definition, above average/median...so they are not average. "Rich" depends on whether UMC is included. UMC Americans have more money and a higher standard of living than pretty much anyone else in the world so... |
And the biggest complainers |
And be white, tall and male. |
They are UMC and doing it easily with a SAHP
In contrast to being UMC dual income in DC or NYC and struggling with life logistics |
OMG, how did I miss that. YOU ARE CORRECT! |
This is not upper middle class by any stretch of the imagination. Have you ever been on DCUM. They’d be lucky to get middle class with a 450,000 house and a Lexus (who is impressed by a Lexus)? |
Their housing is cheap. They can afford SAHP, nanny, and an investment account. On their way to riches. |
Why does it matter? |
Do not apologize OP for wondering about stuff like this >> we ALL do this from time to time. ![]() I say that this family is rich, especially that they can afford to drive such high-end vehicles plus have a live-in Nanny. |
People puleaze‼️ Heads out of the proverbial gutter! |
What if the family was black, too? |
Two cars and a house is not rich. |
