What to wear - wardrobe crisis

If you can get to Eileen Fisher in Friendship Heights, the staff there will have you all set in no time. Take your skirts and ask them for help finding a top, but also look at dresses. They have petite sizes and lots of stuff is on sale now. I speak from experience — I’m petite, late 50s, 120#, and hourglass figure.

Thx. I’m not near FH - live in another state - but may check out near me.

I have this dress and love it - I've worn it to a rehearsal dinner at a beach house and to several other casual events -- e.g., mother's day brunch. The fabric drapes nicely and the pleats give an elongating effect. It's easy to accessorize -- I wore it with a strappy low-wedge sandal and dangly baroque pearl earrings.

Good luck finding something, OP, and hope you enjoy your party!
