Celebrities endorsing apps/games

Anonymous
Celebrities no longer carry the weight they used to in the golden/silver/bronze age of cinema 1930s-1990s.

With the advent of the internet, anyone can become a celebrity and it's no longer a thing of insiders and Hollywood. There are women who become famous and millionaires for selling farts in a jar or bathwater now. It's crazy.

Advertisers are realizing celebrity endorsements are no longer worth the money for products or politics, and paying less or not hiring them anymore.

Courtney Cox and Lisa Kudrow together in one! Are they really making enough money to do these things? Seems humiliating, and something only someone hard-up for cash would do.

JLo had to cancel her tour last summer because of pathetic ticket sales. (She pretended it was because of her divorce.) She likely needs the money to support her lifestyle. Courtney Cox has her own production company and she may be using celebrity endorsements to keep that going through tough times.
